To equip able young Malay/Muslim students with personal development skills, as well as to develop in them a sense of sensitivity to community, national and global issues, in order for them to develop into successful well-rounded individuals who can contribute positively to society at large.

YMC conducts a series of workshops for Secondary 1 to Secondary 4 Malay/Muslim students that focus on themes such as critical thinking, articulation and presentation skills, debating skills, organizational skills, personal development and community service.

Youths are often seen as our future leaders. Therefore it is imperative that we mould and facilitate the development of youths to help them fully realise their potential. Ideally, they should possess the following attributes:

Awareness of community challenges;
Care and concern for the community;
Forward-looking and progressive;
Demonstrate leadership skills; and
Become role models for their peers in the community.
